Defines the general requirements for methods of measurement for high-band video tape recorders, including those having Y/C video connector(s) (NTSC/PAL). Applies to machines using normal input/ output connectors for measuring the composite video signal, and to machines using Y/C video connector(s) known as S video connectors, for measuring the Y/C separated video signal. Applies when characteristics of the video and audio signals recorded and reproduced by means of high-band video tape recorders require checking and measuring.
