Applies to the performance-assessing of non-broadcast colour video cameras having a single-tube or solid-state imager. Specifies test patterns and measurement conditions to facilitate the comparison of measurement results. Measurement methods enable the assessing of the camera performance using lens output, together with any electrical output terminals of the device. Does not define limiting values for various characteristics.
