Gives safety requirements for double-capped fluorescent lamps for general lighting purposes of all groups with Fa6, Fa8, G5, G13, 2G 13, R17d and W4.3x8.5d caps. Also gives the procedure that manufacturer's should follow to show compliance with the require- ments of the standard on the basis of whole production appraisal in connection with their test records on finished products. This can also be used for certification purposes. Also specified are details of a batch test procedure which may be used to make restricted assessment of batches.
