Provides a guide on the selection, design and location of control actuators in order to adapt to the requirements of the operators, to suit the control task in question and account for the circumstances of their use. Applies to manual control actuators in equipment used for private and occupational use. Particularly relevant where the operation of a control actuator could lead to injury or to damage health, whether directly or as a result of human error.
