Describes the following test methods for pressboard and presspaper, intended for use in electrical insulation; Thickness, apparent density, tensile strength and elongation, internal tearing resistance, edge tearing resistance, compressibility, flexibility, shrinkage, cohesion between piles, moisture content, ash content, conductivity and pH of aqueous extract, contamination of liquid dielectrics, oil absorption, conducting paths, presence of metallic particles and electric strength.
