Deze norm bevat een onderzoekingsmethode voor de bepaling van de hechting tussen gevulcaniseerde rubber en textielweefsels. Terwille van de internationale eenheid is deze norm een vertaling van ISO Recommendation R 36 van de International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Determination of adhesion of vulcanized natural or synthetic rubbers to textile fabrics, 1st Edition April 1957. Voor Nederland gelden aanvullingen op deze Recommendation. Deze zijn in deze norm opgenomen.
