Deze norm beschrijft de voorwaarden waaraan een interlaboratoriumonderzoek voor de vaststelling van de herhaalbaarheid en de reproduceerbaarheid van een analysemethode moet voldoen, alsmede de organisatie van dat onderzoek. Deze norm is met inachtneming van de in hoofdstuk 4 gestelde voorwaarden van toepassing op analysemethoden voor plantaardige en dierlijke olien en vetten. De methode is in het algemeen van toepassing op analysemethoden voor goed homogeniseerbare materialen.
