Deze norm geeft de eisen en beproevingsmethoden voor trekvaste koppelingen van ongeplasticeerd polyvinylchloride (PVC) met rubberafdichtingselementen, die bestemd zijn voor PVC-waterleidingbuizen. De norm heeft betrekking op koppelingen waarmee trekvaste verbindingen kunnen worden gemaakt die een vrije hoekverdraaiing tot maximaal 3 trap kunnen hebben, overeenkomstig de huidige constructies.
