Annex B (informative) Typical test set-up for sliding door
Applicable to pivoted/hinged and sliding doorsets with latches, for pedestrian use, this standard specifies the test methods to determine the forces to open/close doors and to release/engage and lock/unlock the hardware using a handle or key. Only applicable to the manual operation doorsets. Measurement of forces for doorsets with self closing devices engaged are excluded from this test method and it is not suitable for doorsets with special hardware e.g emergency exit devices. Doorsets of any material are covered. NOTE: The operation of some windows involves latches and may be tested in accordance with this standard.
