Defines a test method for simulation of practical conditions for defining the ability of a hygienic hand-rub product to reduce the release of transient flora in accordance with requirements when rubbed into volunteers' hands which have been artificially contaminated. Applicable to hygienic handrub to be used in areas and situations requiring medical disinfection, eg patient care in hospitals, community medical facilities, dental institutions, school and kindergarten clinics and in nursing homes.
