Defines significant hazards, hazardous situations and events which are relevant to double mitre sawing machines for V-cutting with a maximum cutting capacity (width and height) of <= 200 mm, fitted or not with pneumatic systems, hereinafter referred to as the machine, designed to cut solid wood, chipboard, fibreboard or plywood and also these materials where they are covered with plastic laminate or edgings, when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer including reasonably foreseeable misuse.
