Defines the safety requirements for compaction machines and deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to compaction machines, when they are used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable. It also specifies additional requirements to and/or exceptions from EN 500-1 "Common requirements".
