Annex A (normative) Special national conditions

Applicable to round zinc-coated steel wires for use in the reinforcement and/or construction of conductors for overhead power transmission purposes. Covers all wires used in constructions where the individual wire diameters, inclusive of coatings, are between 1,25 mm and 5,50 mm. Types of wire are STyz, y representing the grade of steel, and z, the class of zinc coating. The only combinations of steel grading and zinc coating that are covered are ST1A, ST2B, ST3D, ST4A, ST5E, and ST6C. Properties defined are those before stranding.
