NEN-EN-ISO 6185-2 specifies the minimum safety characteristics required for the design, materials to use, manufacture and testing of inflatable boats propelled by engine(s) or sails. Is applicable to inflatable boats (including RIB's) less than 8 m overall length with a minimum buoyancy of 1800 N and an engine power rating of 4,5 kW (6 hp) to 15 kW (20 hp) inclusive, intended to be used within an operating temperature range of -15°C to +60°C.
