Defines a method for the enumeration of characteristic micro-organisms in yoghurt by means of the colony-count technique at 37 degree C. It is applicable to yoghurts in which both characteristic micro-organisms (Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus) are present and viable.
