De combinatie van NVN-ENV 1991-4 en dit NAD kan als alternatief worden gebruikt voor NEN 6702 en dat wordt voldaan aan de in 5.3 van de NEN 6700 geformuleerde eisen van betrouwbaarheid. Voor zover in dit NAD is verwezen naar normen waar ook het Bouwbesluit naar verwijst en waarvoor in of krachtens het Bouwbesluit nadere toepassingsvoorwaarden zijn gegeven, worden deze geacht van toepassing te zijn. Eisen die in NVN-ENV-4 betrekking hebben op de bouwfase, uitvoering, kwaliteitscontrole, regeling van de bevoegdheden, rapportage en beperking van verplaatsingen, worden alleen geacht provaatrechtelijke betekenis te hebben.
