Defines a method of test, which can be used for the determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (and compounds of similar structure) in diesel fuels and petroleum distillates in the concentration range 1 g/l to 40 g/l. Applies to all hydrocarbon mixtures that are completely soluble in cyclohexane and is not restricted to a particular boiling range.
