Deze voornorm beschrijft een methode voor de ontsluiting met salpeterzuur en zoutzuur van grond en slib, waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van een microgolfoven en de te bepalen elementen zodanig in oplossing worden gebracht, dat een gehaltebepaling mogelijk is met atomaire-spectrometrie. De voornorm is van toepassing op alle soorten grond en slib. De beschreven methode is van toepassing op grondmonsters genomen volgens NEN 5742 en voorbehandeld volgens NEN 5751 en op slibmonsters genomen volgens NPR 6600.
