La présente partie du CEN/TS 13126 spécifie les exigences et méthodes d'essai relatives à l'endurance, à la résistance, à la sécurité des biens et au fonctionnement des poignées à ergot de verrouillage. Elle s'applique à toutes les poignées à ergot de verrouillage fixées sur la face des fenêtres articulées ou pivotantes, quel que soit le matériau constituant ces fenêtres. Ces composants ne sont pas recommandés pour les portes-fenêtres.
