Le présent document de travail vise à définir la méthode d'essai de la résistance mécanique des granulés et les exigences correspondantes. Il s'adresse aux fabricants, concepteurs, vendeurs, installateurs et utilisateurs de matériel, d'équipement, d'outils et d'usines complètes où sont utilisés ces granulés, ainsi qu'aux producteurs, acheteurs, vendeurs et utilisateurs de granulés, qu'il s'agisse d'individus ou d'organisations. La durabilité est la mesure de la résistance des combustibles densifiés aux chocs et/ou à l'abrasion à la suite des procédés de transport et de manutention.
