La présente partie de la norme européenne spécifie un mode opératoire d'essai de simulation de l'action abrasive provoquée par la circulation de véhicules sur les granulats grossiers utilisés pour la couche de roulement. L'essai est applicable aux granulats naturels et artificiels, broyés et non broyés ayant une granularité comprise entre 11,2 mm et 16,0 mm. NOTE: Tout écart par rapport à cette plage granulaire donne des résultats incohérents.
