La présente norme européenne spécifie deux méthodes d'essais pour déterminer la résistance des joints des surfaces sportives synthétiques y compris le gazon synthétique. La méthode 1 concerne les joints bord à bord et les joints adhésifs à chevauchement, pour lesquels une force est directement appliquée et la méthode 2 les joints bord à bord renforcés, pour lesquels une force de délaminage est appliquée.
