La présente Norme européenne prescrit une méthode de détermination de la contamination, définie comme la teneur en substances non dissoutes dans les distillats moyens contenant jusqu'à 5% (V/V) d'esters méthyliques d'acides gras (EMAG) et dans les EMAG purs. Cette méthode peut être appliquée pour des teneurs en contaminant allant de 6 mg/kg jusqu'à 30 mg/kg.
