Le présent document spécifie une méthode d'essai destinée à déterminer la résistance aux carburants d'un mélange bitumineux ou d'une chaussée bitumineuse. Le mode opératoire implique tout d'abord l'immersion dans un carburant d'une éprouvette préparée en laboratoire ou extraite de la chaussée, suivie d'une phase de brossage au moyen d'une brosse en acier montée sur un malaxeur. La perte de matériau de l'éprouvette permet de mesurer la résistance du mélange bitumineux à ce carburant.
