La présente partie de l'EN 13523 décrit le mode opératoire permettant de déterminer la résistance au brouillard salin d'un revêtement organique sur un substrat métallique. Pour l'acier, on utilise généralement un brouillard salin neutre et pour l'aluminium, un brouillard salin d'acide acétique.
