La présente Norme européenne décrit une méthode de dosage de l'azote nitrique et ammoniacal, avec réduction, selon Arnd (modifiée pour chacune des variantes a, b et c). La présente méthode est applicable à tous les engrais azotés, y compris les engrais composés où l'azote se trouve exclusivement sous forme nitrique ou sous forme ammoniacale et nitrique.
