La présente norme européenne candidate à l'harmonisation (série des Télécommunications) a été produite par le Comité technique Compatibilité Électromagnétique et spectre radioélectrique (ERM) de l'ETSI. Ce document spécifie les exigences minimales concernant les émetteurs à très haute fréquence (VHF) et les récepteurs d'équipement maritime capables d'appels sélectifs numériques (DSC) et équipés d'un connecteur d'antenne extérieur pour usage à bord des navires.
