This document applies to re-engageable linear heat detectors which comprise a sensor element using an optical fibre, a pneumatic tube or a sensor electrical cable connected to a control unit, directly or via an interface module, for use in fire detection and alarm systems installed in and around buildings and other civil engineering works (see NF EN 54-1:2011).
