La présente partie de la CEI 60598 détaille les prescriptions applicables aux projecteurs à utiliser avec des lampes à filament de tungstène, des lampes tubulaires fluorescentes ou autres lampes à décharge, pour des tensions d'alimentation ne dépassant pas 1000 V. Elle doit être lue conjointement avec les sections de la CEI 60598-1 auxquelles il est fait référence.
