    Cette Norme Internationale Particulière s'applique aux APPAREILS A LASER A USAGES MEDICAUX définis en 2.1.111, qui sont des APPAREILS A LASER DE CLASSE 3B ou 4 définis en 3.17 et 3.18 de la CEI 825-1. Par souci de simplification, ces appareils sont appelés APPAREILS A LASER dans la suite de la présente Norme Particulière. NOTE - Les APPAREILS A LASER à usage médical de la CLASSE 1, 2 ou 3A sont couverts par la CEI 601-1 et la CEI 825-1.
