La présente Norme Européenne a pour objet la description d'une méthode d'évaporation applicable à des éprouvettes de bois préalablement traitées à l'aide d'un produit de préservation, en vue d'apprécier la perte éventuelle de l'efficacité, lorsque ces éprouvettes sont ultérieurement soumises à des essais biologiques, comparativement à des éprouvettes n'ayant subi aucune épreuve d'évaporation.
