La présente partie de l'ISO 105 spécifie des méthodes permettant de déterminer la résistance des teintures de textiles de tous les types lorsqu'ils sont exposés à toutes les formes d'opérations de lavage industriel. Un cycle équivaut à la décoloration et au dégorgement résultant de l'action chimique et/ou mécanique correspondant à de multiples (de 5 à 10) lavages industriels.
