This document specifies methods for the determination of oxidation induction time (isothermal OIT) and oxidation induction temperature (dynamic OIT) of polymeric materials by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). . It applies to polyolefin resins in fully stabilized form or as a composition, either as raw materials or as finished products. It can be applied to other plastics.
