Gives a procedure to determine resistance of moulded test samples of polypropylene and propylene-copolymers to increased ageing by heat in the presence of air by use of a forced draught oven. The procedure attempts to measure the service life of components made from propylene plastics. Stability determined by the procedure is not related directly to material suitability used when different environmental conditions prevail.
