La présente partie de l'ISO 13909 spécifie les modes opératoires et les exigences pour la conception et l'élaboration de plans d'échantillonnage pour l'échantillonnage mécanique en continu du coke ainsi que les méthodes d'échantillonnage utilisées. La diversité des types d'équipements pour l'échantillonnage et les conditions dans lesquelles l'échantillonnage mécanique est réalisé ne permettent pas de spécifier des modèles d'échantillonneurs normalisés applicables à toutes les situations.
