La présente partie de l'ISO 1833 spécifie une méthode de détermination, par chauffage, de la proportion de fibres cellulosiques dans les textiles composés de mélanges binaires de - coton ou cellulose régénérée et - d'amiante chrysotile et crocidolite. Cette méthode peut s'appliquer à d'autres types d'amiante, après accord entre les parties intéressées.
