This document describes a method for determining the retention properties vis-à-vis water and hydrocarbons of low and medium viscosities of absorbent products all liquids and/or absorbents usable on the ground This test method is applicable to all liquid absorbents of various packaging, in bulk, sheets, carpets, rolls, as well as so-called wrapped absorbents (cushions, dams) defined in standard NF T 90-362 "Classification of absorbent products".
