Lays down requirements for the track configuration on the compact cassette for language laboratory, language trainer, tape-slide synchronization systems or other similar applications. Specifies frequencies and durations of cue tones. The only deviation from IEC Publication is over the use of tracks in order to secure student response facilities and fully compatible pre-recorded information. Applies to cassettes used in A.P.V., A.A.C. and A.A.V. systems for separate and superimposed track systems
