Le présent document précise, en complément de la norme NF EN 809, les marquages obligatoires et complémentaires des pompes et groupes motopompes ainsi que leurs emplacements. Le présent document s'applique à toutes les pompes et à tous les groupes motopompes d'usage général. Le paragraphe 3.2 ne s'applique pas aux pompes immergées, circulateurs de chauffage central, pompes électrodomestiques de puissance inférieure à 1 kW.
