La présente norme définit les règles à observer pour garantir la qualité des constructions aérospatiales en matériaux métalliques soudées par procédé TIG. Le soudage par point TIG est exclu. Elle s'applique sans restrictions pour la fabrication de pièces neuves ou pour la réparation, ces opérations étant placées sous la responsabilité d'un fournisseur ou d'un réparateur agréé.
