La présente norme a pour objet de décrire les principales caractéristiques des diffuseurs portables de médicaments définis en 3.1, d'établir les spécifications relatives à leurs performances, à leur compatibilité/stabilité avec les médicaments qu'ils sont destinés à administrer, dans le diffuseur, ainsi que les méthodes d'essais correspondantes. Ces diffuseurs sont identifiés par le terme "dispositif", à partir du paragraphe 3.8.
