    Le présent document a pour objet de définir une méthode d'essai pour mesurer la perméabilité à l'air d'un élément filtrant. La perméabilité à l'air ne permet pas la détection d'un défaut ponctuel. Elle est une caractéristique fonctionnelle de l'élément filtrant (son aptitude à se laisser traverser par un fluide) mais elle ne permet pas de préjuger de son efficacité.
