Annex A (informative) Design of caps for valves with
flanged connections
Covers protective caps for flanged valves with/without internal coating. Use of these is limited to protection during transport and storage to stop dirt entry and connecting surface damage. They do not protect against the result of incorrect handling. Protective caps for pipe fittings and valves with threaded and welded ends are not covered.
