Bibliography
Provides advice on writing technical specification for procurement of boiler and high pressure piping valves, as well as safety valves for power stations. Does not cover equipment used in nuclear reactor plant areas of nuclear power stations. Deals with valves (including safety valves), for installing in boiler plants and high pressure piping systems. Also advises buyers how the specification should be prepared so that equipment type and capacity interfaces correctly with other elements of systems; performance is achieved; ancillary equipment is sized properly; reliability, availability and safety criteria is achieved and consideration is given to the evaluation process and quality measures to be applied.
