Applicable to all combustion and fuel handling equipment for use in industrial thermoprocessing equipment meeting the specification for machinery such as furnaces, kilns, ovens, heating systems, salt baths and melting tanks, together with integrated burners and torches used in casting machines, ladle heating, and so on. Applicable to fuel handling adjacent to the equipment but downstream of and including the main plant manually operated fuel shut off valve. Defines hazards, safety requirements and associated measures in addition to the use instructions regarding fuel handling and combustion equipment.
