This Austrian Standard specifies requirements for room acoustics for (a) rooms in which a good audibility - especially speech intelligibility - should be ensured, eg. event spaces, classrooms; (b) premises where noise reduction is the primary objective, such as production areas, but also spaces where adequate intelligibility of calls (including telephone calls) is required, such as offices and other spaces where noise reduction is sought, such as staircases and corridors, kindergartens, swimming and sports halls, restaurants.
