Dieser Teil der Norm gilt für vollständig umschlossene Spielgeräte, die für die Aufstellung innerhalb und ausserhalb von Gebäuden und für Kinder bis 14 Jahren vorgesehen sind, siehe 3.1. Der Zweck dieser Norm ist es, zusätzliche sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen festzulegen, die die Besonderheiten dieser Konstruktionen, wie z. B. Ausgänge und Fluchtwege, Einsehbarkeit, äussere Bekletterbarkeit, Begrenzungswände/Netze in Bezug auf Sicherheitsbereich, Beständigkeit gegen Entzündbarkeit, spezielle Geräte/Bauteile, stossdämpfende Böden, Beschilderung, spezielle Inspektion und Wartung berücksichtigen.
