Die vorliegende Norm legt die Zusammensetzung, die Anforderungen an die Eigenschaften und die Grenzabmasse für in gerade Längen gelieferte Hohlstangen aus Kupfer und Kupferlegierungen für die spanende Bearbeitung fest. Sie gilt für Hohlstangen mit einem Aussendurchmesser oder einer Schlüsselweite von 12 mm bis 80 mm und einem Bohrungsdurchmesser von 8 mm bis 70 mm. Hohlstangen mit einem Aussendurchmesser über 80 mm und/oder einer Wanddicke unter 2 mm sind in prEN...(00133008) festgelegt. Der Ablauf der Probenentnahme, die Prüfverfahren zur Feststellung der Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen der Norm und die Lieferbedingungen sind ebenfalls festgelegt.
