Zur Bewertung der Festigkeit von drucktragenden Gehäusen ist ein Berechnungsverfahren festgelegt. Dieses Verfahren kann alternativ zu den Methoden der Teile 1 und 3 dieser Europäischen Norm angewandt werden. Es wird empfohlen, auch für drucktragende Armaturengehäuse in ovaler, rechteckiger oder nicht runder Ausführung diese Berechnungsmethode zu wählen.
