Diese ÖNORM legt die Anforderungen für die Konstruktion, Herstellung, Leistung, Gebrauchstauglichkeit, Sicherheit und Hygiene von Behältermilchkühlanlagen für Kuhmilch und die damit verbundenen Prüfverfahren fest. Sie gilt für Behältermilchkühlanlagen mit automatischer Steuerung, die für die Aufstellung in Milcherzeugerbetrieben oder in Milchsammelstellen bestimmt sind. Sie gilt nur für Kühltanks für zwei Gemelke, vier Gemelke und sechs Gemelke, in denen die Kühlung vollständig innerhalb des Kühltanks erfolgt.
